Atlanta Bloggers: Last night it almost POPPED OFF at a BET Awards pre-party. Rapper BUSTA RHYMES approached radio personality Charlamagne Tha God at NOBU – where a bunch of industry ppl were partying. According to sources, Busta was UPSET that Wendy Williams (Charlamagne’s former boss) had Busta’s babys mother and his SON on her show, back in 2004. And because Charlamagne used to work with Wendy, Busta blamed CHARLAMAGNE for the interview.
Charlamagne reportedly tried to EXPLAIN to Busta that he was NOT ON Wendy’s radio show back in 2004. The two had WORDS back and forth . . . and then it was CHARAMAGNE that ended the words and was about to GET IT POPPIN!!
One eyewitness tells us, Charlamagne told Busta, “N*gga I will fuck you up. [Busta] said ‘put your drink down'”. Charlamagne then put his drink down and got IN BUSTA’S FACE.
Luckily for everyone, the fight was broken up before any PUNCHES WERE THROWN. Busta’s security came pulled him away and Akon’s brother Bu pulled Charlamagne away. – VIDEO COMING IN A FEW MINUTES. STAY TUNE
